Sorry it’s been so long since I’ve written. I really was feeling like I didn’t have much to say. Sure I thought plenty, but after my last post I was feeling like maybe I shouldn’t express my views quite so much (obviously not enough to take it down though!)

I have been feeling very thankful for the past few weeks, though I have not joined the “post something you’re thankful for everyday” on Facebook and I haven’t blogged and even in real life I haven’t talked much about being thankful. BUT I AM. Here, a list of things I’m thankful for this Thanksgiving and always:

My Saviour, Jesus
My husband, Kody
My children, including the unborn baby growing inside me right now
My best friend and her family who are like family to me
My parents and sisters, I’m really missing themm this year and missing being a family – I’ll always miss that
My family in law who are here and help us and love us and treat me like I am one of them instead of an outsider
My friends who support me and are always there to help out when I need it and who care enough to pray when needed
Food in my refrigerator and on my table
A roof over my head, a house that I love and feel like making into our home
Techonology to help keep in touch with family and old friends
My health and the ability to do things for myself and to do things that take care of my family
Books that help me to learn new things
Family recipes
Handmade beds, shelves, clothing, pretty things
The ability that God has given me to create beautiful things for my family and others
That I can be a stay at home, homeschooling mom, even though it’s tough
That I have people who support me in that venture and understand that just because it’s tough I’m not giving up
My doctors, especially at Heskett Chiropractic, who sincerely care about my wellbeing and do their job to the best of their ability
Wonderful neighbors and a nice quiet neighborhood
My fireplace and heat
Ancestors who shaped me into the person I am and others who have done the same
I’m thankful for the land that God has given to all of us that will provide for us and help us all to live
I’m thankful I live in one of the most free countries there is, although it sometimes doesn’t feel like it is, and I’m thankful for those who protect that everyday (many of them friends or family)
I’m thankful for All that I have and I PRAISE GOD for ALL OF IT!

I hope you all have a blessed and wonderful Thanksgiving and that you are able to sit with some loved ones, be they family or friends, and eat your fill of delicious food. I pray for your coming year and that you have much to be thankful for!

“And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” ~Colossians 3:15-17 (NKJV)
