As tomorrow approaches I have been thinking more and more about Christ’s sacrifice for me. I always tend to think more about it at Easter and Christmas, as I’m sure most people do. I wish I could say that I worship the same all year as I do at this time (as it should be), but I do fall short of that. This Easter is a bit different for us since we won’t be able to attend church no matter how much I wish we could! I’m trying to figure out what to do tomorrow to keep my children’s and my own focus in the right place at home. Since we have a new baby in the house and a vehicle that is too small to hold all of us we’ll have to make it work. While we hide eggs and hunt for them, we will also read from the bible (the Easter story, what else?) and listen to some worship songs.
After watching VeggieTales Easter Carol a few years ago, Hope’s Song has also stuck with me. I would love to sing this at our church someday, if I ever get the nerve up!! I love Rebecca Saint James anyway, and this song is one that I want to sing with all my heart.
I pray that all of you remember what Easter is about as the weekend continues. Jesus gave his life for you so that you could have eternal life. Sunday is coming and I for one will be celebrating Jesus’ ressurection!
“He died for us to give us life, and to give us hope He rose!”
