We hope you all have had a happy Easter! As promised, here are the shots of everyone in their handmade clothes. I think everything turned out great and the kids got tons of compliments at church, so I guess they did look good.
I never blogged about my skirt, and probably won’t, but you can kind of see it in one of the pictures. It was made with this tutorial and the fabric is henna garden by Sandi Henderson. I have wanted some since the line was released years ago and I finally snagged a yard about a month ago. So pretty. I made a matching flower clip which I thought would go in my hair. Since I couldn’t find a necklace to wear I grabbed some red beads from Walmart and used ribbon that I had to make a quick necklace. Taylor thought the clip should go on the necklace so I wore it like that.
Here’s an extra pic of Taylor’s outfit because I think she looks gorgeous in it.
I enjoyed Sunday morning church even though I wasn’t able to be out in the service. I had baby duty, so I spent the morning watching the service on tv and rocking a sweet boy. Then the kids participated in the church egg “hunt” before we headed to Kody’s parents for the afternoon and evening. We had a huge meal, including ham, mashed potatoes, corn, baked beans, bread and cookies/brownies. We hunted eggs outside when the sun came out and then spent the rest of the day relaxing and playing games and reading. It was a great day!
