I decided to have a little fun today and got out all the sock yarn to take inventory. I don’t have as big a stash as so many out there, but I have plenty to knit socks from! So, here’s what I have right now:

Socks That Rock – mediumweight: Monsoon (2007 club color), 100% superwash merino – this is what I am currently working on :)

The following are some sock yarns that I would like to try in the future and I picked out some colors that I really like in each. I’m sure that there are others that I would like, but these are just some that I have seen and really want to use next!

Knitting Notions Online: Roses ‘n Thyme
Mountain Colors Bearfoot: Steelhead, Indian Corn, Moon Dance, Northern Lights
Lavender Sheep: Sea Turtle, Dark Chocolate Raspberry, Mountain Sunrise
Socks That Rock: Footzey Foo, January One, Pink Granite, Blue Moonstone (in Seduction)

The little red bag with the sheep on it is what I am keeping my current sock project in (when it isn’t lying around daring the children to take the needles out), but was to hold all my knitting when I was little. These bags were gifts from my Nana and I am pretty sure that at least one of my sisters also has one (if not both). I found it when my mom was moving and we went through her house to find our things and I am glad to have something so cute to use to hold my socks!
